Softball Victoria Academy Program – Enrolments now open for 2019

Softball Victoria is pleased to announce the 2019 Academy Program will start soon.

The program is structured for athletes in the Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 age groups and consists of 12 weeks training aimed at developing all of the key skills, as well as offensive and defensive game play. The Academy program will culminate with a tournament experience in the September school holidays.

The program is run by accredited softball coaches from within the Softball Victoria community and is open to existing member of the softball community, participants of Sporting Schools program, members of school softball teams, and children interested in learning softball.

The key dates for the program are as follows, noting that trainings are 2:00pm to 4:30pm:

Initial Costs:  $30 registration for the Academy program.

(Inclusive of possible game play days).

Training and Playing Uniform Details and Tournament Costs will be confirmed as soon as possible.

NEW* This year the program is aiming to offer parents/siblings/supporters of athletes the opportunities to undertake coaching, scoring, and umpiring basics course, the sessions for which will be aligned to player training dates. Anyone interested in taking part in these opportunities should advise the program coordinators ASAP to register your interest. This is an opportunity to start your career as a softball official, further supporting your child as they progress with in our sport.
