Peta Edebone Cup set to return in 2020

Softball Victoria is pleased to advise that the Peta Edebone Cup competition will return for season 2020.

The premier women’s softball competition in Victoria is set for a third year after its historic name change in 2019.

Traditionally involving four franchises, the competition will be reduced to three sides to enhance the competitive balance of the competition.

Additionally, the competition will be shortened and run over a six-week period beginning from 23 September, with the Grand Final scheduled on 28 October.

Three games will be played each Wednesday evening across various venues in Victoria.

The Fully Loaded Format will return to ensure a fast-paced and dynamic experience for players and spectators – making for a compelling Spring of elite women’s softball action.

Games will once again be broadcast live in 2020, to allow the Victorian softball community to continue their support and encouragement for players and franchises.

More information regarding team announcements, fixture dates and further competition details will be made available in the coming weeks.
