Softball Victoria (SV) is excited to award three female leaders from the Victorian softball community the opportunity to undertake Sky High Coaching’s Leadership Scholarships program.
The program aims to assist the development of three emerging leaders as part of the Victorian Government’s Change Our Game Workforce Development Program. SV aims to encourage more volunteers, specifically female volunteers, to put their hand up for positions within our association and club network to drive growth in participation.
SV is pleased to announce the following individuals as inaugural winners of the scholarship:
- Bree Martin – Knox Softball Association
- Belinda Ainslie – Sunshine Softball Association
- Kathy Bedwell – Sunbury Softball Association
Sky High Coaching’s Janelle Ryan will work with the three successful winners on growing both their personal and leadership skills with an objective to enhance their overall wellbeing and management proficiencies.
Janelle is a passionate
and dedicated international Personal Coach, founder of Sky High Coaching, and
an inspirational speaker. She helps high performers create extraordinary lives;
her clients include executive leaders, entrepreneurs and elite athletes.
Softball Victoria CEO Nick Frayne, is extremely excited to announce the winners and says the experience will be rewarding for all involved.
“Throughout the recent delivery of the Leadership Masterclass by Carol Fox and the volunteer recruitment workshops delivered by Sports Community, these three leaders were identified as being particularly special,” Frayne said.
“Bree, Belinda and Kathy are not only fantastic volunteers within our association and club networks, but have a drive to see the sport that they love succeed and grow from strength-to-strength.”
“These scholarships are not only designed to improve their skills in softball administration, but to provide them with the knowledge to assist them in their own professional pursuits.”
