Softball Victoria (SV) are now welcoming applications for the newly created role of State Coordinator of Coaching.
The State Coordinator of Coaching (SCC) is responsible for leading coach development across Regions, Associations, Clubs and communities in Victoria to increase the opportunities for current and prospective coaches to improve and further develop their skills.
The role will manage the planning and delivery of all coaching courses in Victoria and provide further training opportunities for State, pathway and community coaches alike. The role will also be responsible for the development of a strong coaching community that encourages collaboration, teamwork, clear and concise communication and provides a strong support network for coaches at all levels.
The successful candidate will possess the drive to achieve results in line with the SV Strategic Plan, have the ability to present to large groups and challenge thinking and have strong communications skills.
A minimum of Level 2 Coaching accreditation is required along with a current Working with Children Check and the commitment to achieve Level 3 accreditation within the first 12 months of holding the position.
The role is a voluntary position with an honorarium of $3,000 paid to cover travel and administration costs.
