Softball Victoria is seeking nominations from interested parties wishing to apply for a role as a Talent Identification Scout (TID).
With the U15 and U19 State Championships rapidly approaching Softball Victoria is seeking members of the softball community to assist with the talent identification through the appointment of ‘Scouts’.
The TID Scouts play an important part in the elite pathway within the State program. Individuals wishing to assist in this role for the U15 or U19 State Championships should contact Simon Blundell immediately to advise him of your interest, and then submit the nomination form contained in the link below. Without scouts in place, it limits our ability to identify talented athletes and invite them to become part of the State program.
We are seeking volunteers who are available to attend one or more of the State Championship events and who are interested in assisting with the collection of basic information in relation to the players.
The State Championships will be held as follows:
U15’s – Werribee, 23-24 February 2019
U19’s – Werribee, 23-24 February 2019
Open’s – NDSA, 9-10 March 2019
U17’s – Frankston, 30-31 March 2019
The Softball Victoria Development Pathway Program provides players with opportunities to be selected to compete at Under 14 Boys & Girls Regional Championships, Under 16 Boys & Girls, Under 18 Men & Women, and Under 23 Men & Women and Open Men & Women National Championships.
