Softball Victoria is running a development day to train associations and providers on how to run a variety of softball programs.
If you or someone you know is looking to provide a Sporting Schools, Social 7’s or Batters Up Program within your association, the Softball Programs Training session on August 12 is a must attend event.
Details for the Softball Programs Training session are as follows:
Date: Saturday August 12
Where: Dandenong Association
10:00am to 11:30: Jo Paez from Softball Australia will run a 30-minute theory session and then a one hour practical session displaying the skills and activities to be used for Batters Up. The Batters Up program is also used as part of Sporting Schools, so if you have anybody interested in being an accredited Sporting Schools coach, please invite them to this session.
11:45am to 1:15pm: Shane Cantelmi from Softball Australia will be running a 30-minute theory and one hour practical session on Social 7’s. The practical session will be a game of Social 7’s.
These sessions are open to anybody from your clubs or association who are interested in learning more about delivering these programs. It is recommended that appropriate sports clothing be worn as participants will be involved in the practical sessions.
Registrations for planning purposes are required. If someone from your association would like to participate in the Softball Programs Training, fill out the registration form here.
