U17 Boys – Game 1: Victoria 8 – Western Australia 10
After a topsy turvey game against WA, Victoria went down in a high scoring encounter.
It took a few innings for the Victorian bats to warm up before they scored a number of runs through good team batting.
Unfortunately a three-run homer in the sixth was enough to seal the win for WA.
U17 Boys – Game 2: Victoria 9 – South Australia 8
Victoria made hard work of their game against SA before eventually coming away winners in another high scoring game.
Strong batting early put the Vics in a commanding position before SA came back with some good batting themselves to snatch the lead.
Victoria fought back hard with great team batting, capitalising on one base hits to score runs and it was great to get the first win on the board.
Cody Smith took a sharp diving catch at second base which he converted into a double play while an awesome diving catch at centre field from Jared Reynolds to start the bottom of the fifth was another highlight.

Under 15 Girls – Game 1: Victoria 10 – WA White 2
It was a sensational game from start to finish with Kiara Rhind-Luke in amazing form as starting pitcher, then supported by great pitching by Angelina Kichokov.
The match saw some fantastic hitting including three bases hit by Karri Pritchard (twice), Rhind-Luke and Kasey Smith. There was some awesome sacrifice batting to score runs at third.
We saw some aggressive base running which pushed the defence of WA and there was a great team spirit and supports to all fielders and batters.
There was a real Victorian team spirit on display and we are now finding our stride.
