Chisholm Institute Students Receive Softball Equipment

Softball Victoria (SV) recently donated softball equipment to Chisholm Institute to ensure all current and future students have an opportunity to partake in the sport.

Following the success of the recent Social 7s competition and weekly fun ‘Come and Try Softball’ activities held at Dandenong, Springvale and Frankston Campuses – students had been asking if they could play softball during breaks and at lunchtime.

As a result of the feedback, SV Development Manager Scot Nicholson surprised students by visiting the Frankston Campus to donate equipment – included bats, balls, gloves, helmets and protective gear on behalf of SV.

Over the next month SV will continue their partnership with Chisholm Institute by running sessions with the Berwick and Cranbourne Campuses, before Casey Softball Association hosts their Social 7s event on December 10 for students from these campuses and the Frankston Campus.
